The organizers invite you to take part in the following social events and Hotel VZ Merin's leisure sport activities:

• The Welcome Party is planned for Sunday evening (it is the first official meeting of all participants during the conference).
• The SOFSEM History Evening is planned for Monday evening (the evening will be full of past SOFSEMs' memories).
• The Country Evening will be on Wednesday evening (more information will be provided when it's available).
• The ANTISOFSEM 2004 is the final evening of the SOFSEM 2004 Conference.

Our half day trips are planed for Tuesday January 27, after the lunch from 13.30 till 19.00.
(Please note that every participant can choose only one trip.)

• Trip to the area of Prague Castle: a professional guide will take you to the pleasant sightseeing tour of Prague, which will end in the area of Prague Castle, where you will get through the original touch of Czech beautiful history.
  
  
• Trip to Astronomical Institute -- Ondrejov Observatory: An excursion to the Astronomical Institute of the Czech Academy of Science located on Manda hill amidst the forest. Founded by Josef Jan Fric 100 years ago, there are two historical observatories here and a museum displaying historic astronomical equipment. One observatory telescope has a mirror of 2m diameter.
