To register for SOFSEM 2012 please complete the Registration & Booking Form on-line and pay the registration fee. By early registration you will save your money, and also help us to organize things better!

The deadlines for registration are:

  • early registrationby November 25, 2011,
  • late registrationtill January 18, 2012,
  • on-site registrationafter January 18, 2012.

Registration Desk

SOFSEM 2012 Registration Desk will be located at OREA Hotel Horal **** by the hotel reception and will be open on Saturday January 21, 2012 from 16.00 till 21.00 p. m. and on Sunday January 22, 2012 from 8.30 till 9.00 a. m.

Lectures start on Sunday morning. The conference program is scheduled until Thursday evening.

Registration Fees

Regular Registration Fee includes

  • attendance at the conference,
  • full board* and accommodation for 6 nights (January 21–27, 2012) in a chosen type of room in OREA Hotel Horal ****,
  • a book of SOFSEM 2012 Springer LNCS proceedings,
  • a book of local proceedings (Student Research Forum papers),
  • a conference package,
  • refreshments during breaks,
  • use of conference facilities and technical equipment,
  • welcome party,
  • social program,
  • entrance to the selected sport facilities.

Student Registration Fee includes
Pension Barytka accommodation is already occupied.

  • attendance at the conference,
  • full board* and accommodation for 6 nights (January 21–27, 2012) in room in Pension Barytka (fully occupied) or in OREA Hotel Horal ****,
  • a book of local proceedings (Student Research Forum papers),
  • a conference package,
  • refreshments during breaks,
  • use of conference facilities and technical equipment,
  • welcome party,
  • social program,
  • entrance to the selected sport facilities,
  • NO BOOK of SOFSEM 2012 Springer LNCS proceedings.

Accompanying Person Fee includes

  • full board* and accommodation in a double room in OREA Hotel Horal ****,
  • welcome party,
  • social program,
  • assistance with individual requests.

Registration Fees

The New VAT Law Regulations

Because of the new VAT law regulations in the Czech Republic, the registration fees can be paid by foreigners without VAT. Please fill all required information on the Registration & Booking Form on-line to be entitled to do so.

If your billing party has a VAT number, this extempt you from paying VAT in the Czech Republic and you will pay the prices without VAT.

Student Fee

The student fee is arranged for students only (including Ph. D. students). Students are asked to fill the ID Number in Registration & Booking Form on-line. Students might be asked to provide a proof they are (still) students during the registration.

Payment

Payments in Czech Crowns (CZK) can be made

  • by Credit card (VISA, Eurocard/MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Diners Club).
  • by Bank transfer

If you require a tax invoice, please indicate on Registration & Booking Form on-line the Invoicing address.

Confirmation of your payment will be e-mailed to you and the invoice will be given to you upon your arrival at the SOFSEM 2012 Registration Desk.

Cancellation Policy

The registration fee deducted of 2000 CZK will be refunded for all written cancellations sent to Action M Agency no later than December 16, 2011. After that date no refund of the registration fee will be provided.

The cancellation of bus transportation is non-refundable.

The cancellation for authors leading to nobody presenting the paper on the conference is not accepted (according to the paper acceptance conditions for Springer LNCS SOFSEM 2012 Proceedings or for Student Research Forum Local Proceedings). The refund of the registration fee will not be provided anytime.
