Victoria A. Marshall

From 1984 until 1988, Victoria was at Reading University working on a PhD entitled VORTEXT: An experimental hyper-text reading system. In 1989, she joined the Computing and Information Systems Department as Novel User Interfaces Section Leader. Dr Marshall has contributed to many projects, including EWS (Euro WorkStation), ELO, and ROAr. From October 1992 until April 1993, Victoria was on a Research Fellowship in the Multimedia/Hypermedia Department at the Centre for Computer Graphics (ZGDV) in Darmstadt, Germany. Here, she began work on the MOVie project, which she continues to pursue back in the UK. In addition to the MOVie project and other hyper-media work she also organised and designed the Departmental web and is the technical coordinator for all publicly visible webs across the whole of CLRC.
