Hava Siegelmann

works in the areas of analog computation and biological-based information systems, including neural networks, genetic algorithms, and distributed and probabilistic computation. Siegelmann received her BA from Technion (Summa cum Laude), her MSc from the Hebrew University, and her PhD from Rutgers University. All her degrees are in Computer Science. Currently, she is an assistant professor at the information system department at the Technion. Siegelmann has received the Israeli Presidential Young Investigator award ("ALON") for the years 1995-1997, gave numerous invited talks, and published in various interesting mediums, such as the journal SCIENCE.
