Jiri Wiedermann

is interested in sequential and parallel machine models, neuro-computing, and related complexity theory. He also works with design of efficient algorithms for such models. He was for many years employed at the Institute of Informatics and Statistics, Bratislava. He is currently with the Institute of Computer Science of Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, since 1994 as the vice-director. He is also giving lectures in complexity theory at Charles University, Prague.
