The intent of the "short announcement" is to make a short announcement of the student's work (approx. 5 minutes) containing the most important message for the SOFSEM 2006 audience in order to invoke discussion during the rest of the conference.
The poster presentation is aimed at detailed discussion. The presenting student is supposed to prepare a poster up to the size 125 x 95 cm with a detailed information about his/her work.
Note, the best poster will be evaluated by SOFSEM participants and recognized. Of course the SOFSEM participants will take into account all your performance at the conference (introduction, announcement, poster and poster discussion).
