We are pleased to announce a special miniSOFSEM 2013 for all SOFSEMists (participants of the previous SOFSEM conferences, especially from the very first one in the year 1974 untill the more recent ones in this millesime) which have not had the chance or possibility to participate in the last SOFSEMs and would like to

  • discuss in the panel 40 years of SOFSEM – Quo vadis?,
  • experience the SOFSEM of these days
  • meet again the "old" SOFSEMists.

miniSOFSEM 2013 will last 3 days (from Saturday 26 until Tuesday 29 morning) and will give its participants a possibility to attend 4 invited talks of SOFSEM 2013 invited speakers on Sunday January 27, to participate at the SOFSEM 2013 Welcome Party on Sunday evening, to attend the morning invited talk and lectures in one of the four tracks:

on Monday and to socialize intensively in between.

miniSOFSEM Registration

To register for miniSOFSEM 2013 please complete the miniSOFSEM Registration & Booking Form on-line and pay the registration fee. By early registration you will save your money, and also help us to organize things better!

The deadlines for registration are:

  • early registrationby January 2, 2013,
  • late registrationafter January 2, 2013,
  • on-site registrationafter January 23, 2013.

SOFSEM 2013 Registration Desk will be located at Hotel Bedřichov and open on Saturday January 26, 2013 from 16.00 till 21.00 and on Sunday January 27 from 8.30 till 9.00.

miniSOFSEM Registration Fees

miniSOFSEM Fee includes
(for 3 days – from Saturday 26 until Tuesday 29 morning)

This Fee is NOT intended for regular participants of the conference.
The participant cannot take an active part (e. i., cannot have presentation or poster) in the program of the conference.

  • 2 days attendance at the conference (Sunday January 27 and Monday January 28),
  • full board* and accommodation for 3 nights (January 26–29, 2013) in a chosen type of room in Hotel Bedřichov,
  • refreshments during breaks,
  • use of conference facilities and technical equipment,
  • welcome party,
  • entrance to the selected sport facilities,
  • NO BOOK of SOFSEM 2013 Springer LNCS proceedings,
  • NO BOOK of local proceedings (Student Research Forum papers),

The SOFSEM 2013 organisers offer you Conference Serviced Transportation from Prague to Špindlerův Mlýn.

The transportation fee is 350 CZK/person/way.

miniSOFSEM Cancellation Policy

The registration fee deducted of 2000 CZK will be refunded for all written cancellations sent to Action M Agency no later than January 14, 2013. After that date no refund of the registration fee will be provided.

The cancellation of bus transportation is non-refundable.
